As the World Churns

As the WORLD
churns
so must our stomachs
for
WE are LOST

in
(deep) space
this no place
to
hide— PROGRESS
is failing
as
the world churns
the chaff w/o
enough
wheat
for all of us
to eat
and yet
there’s meat
to greet, at the feet
of, pot-bellied profiteers
(Oh, what a feast!)
as the world
churns
to yet another
gobbling
somebody’s
beat.
