each room,<\/p>\n

look for other lost<\/p>\n

souls<\/p>\n

and do this.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a must.<\/p>\n

Alone?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All alone!<\/p>\n

Then, stride out<\/p>\n

into the street,<\/p>\n

grab<\/p>\n

the first one you meet:<\/p>\n

man, woman, child, even the dog down the road.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Go!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Find<\/p>\n

someone<\/p>\n

gaze into his\/her\/its<\/p>\n

eyes<\/p>\n

which must not be<\/p>\n

encumbered with so many pronouns,<\/p>\n

when translated into<\/p>\n

other tongues.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just do it!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hold<\/p>\n

anyone<\/p>\n

close enough to watch<\/p>\n

yourself in a stranger\u2019s eyes,<\/p>\n

always black pupils,<\/p>\n

undiluted<\/p>\n

scenes of you in miniature,<\/p>\n

looking deep into<\/p>\n

sights unseen<\/p>\n

of you<\/p>\n

looking deep into<\/p>\n

the Other<\/p>\n

who sees you &<\/p>\n

vice versa<\/p>\n

but<\/p>\n

with a rose-scented feeling<\/p>\n

while<\/p>\n

coraz\u00f3n latido <\/em><\/p>\n

a symphony<\/p>\n

yet<\/p>\n

unknown,<\/p>\n

notre amour <\/em><\/p>\n

beyond the bevy called \u201cin love.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For this is it,<\/p>\n

this us<\/p>\n

sentipensante; <\/em><\/p>\n

this us<\/p>\n

when akoma<\/em> feels other<\/p>\n

than how it is taught to think<\/p>\n

in some type of separation<\/p>\n

of<\/p>\n

down is not up<\/p>\n

there is not here<\/p>\n

then is not now<\/p>\n

wrong is not right<\/p>\n

they are, most definitely, not us<\/p>\n

not only bad but also opposed to our good<\/p>\n

abounds<\/p>\n

in every glib gesture of<\/p>\n

\u201cGo way you<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n

Can you feel it?<\/p>\n

Did you try it?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

do you still<\/p>\n

look for life on these dead pages<\/p>\n

through this contrived<\/p>\n

convolution,<\/p>\n

even as I might just be there\u2014<\/p>\n

outside your door<\/p>\n

waiting<\/p>\n

for our encounter with the truth<\/p>\n

of who we are<\/p>\n

when<\/p>\n

waiting<\/p>\n

for our hearts to speak<\/p>\n

instead of your interpretation of<\/p>\n

these well-worn words<\/p>\n

of mine.<\/p>\n
